Senior Design Drafter

📋 Description

• Analyzes project mechanical specs to design equipment.
• Assists engineering team with equipment selection and design.
• Prepares drawings of parts and assemblies with views.
• Uses CAD to complete 2D and 3D designs.
• Performs arithmetic computations with standard formulas.
• Follows project engineer instructions; revises drawings as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Drafting or equivalent.
• 10+ years drafting/design with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, ACC/BIM 360.
• Ability to model piping and structural steel in 3D.
• Experience maintaining specification catalogs and piping specs.
• Experience creating piping isometrics and steel fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 for Piping.
