Senior Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Generate innovative engineering designs using proven technologies alongside creative
• Lead mechanical design activities from concept development through detailed design and production
• Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles throughout the design
• Collaborate with CAE engineers to meet structural, vibration, and fluid flow performance
• Produce design reports and deliver technical presentations to senior stakeholders
• Ensure CAD designs are structured and released in line with Bill of Materials (BoM) requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Strong mechanical design engineering experience across complex engineering products
• Experience delivering projects from concept through manufacture and deployment
• Proficiency in CAD design tools, ideally CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
• Understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Ability to interpret and work with P&ID drawings
• Knowledge of structural and vibration analysis principles
