Senior Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build product experiences from exploration to production
• Own Pylon's design system including tokens, type, color, spacing, and component library
• Build embeddable, themeable components
• Simplify complex mortgage workflows and data
• Prototype in real code and iterate based on user feedback
• Handle details: states, edge cases, responsiveness, accessibility

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as product designer who codes, design engineer, or frontend engineer
• Portfolio of live products or working prototypes
• Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, interaction, and motion
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS
• Experience with design systems or component libraries
• Comfort with Figma
