Senior Design Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the full design lifecycle from concept to production handover.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams (concept artists, CAD technicians, 3D modelers).
• Translate briefs into actionable design strategies aligned with scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Review and approve drawings, 3D models, material specs, storyboards, and docs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility.
• Manage client communication for design matters, including presentations and revisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or Scenic Design.
• 5+ years of design management experience in themed entertainment, fabrication, attractions, or events.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
• Experience interpreting drawings and integrating mechanical, structural, and electrical requirements.
• Fabrication methods knowledge: carpentry, metalwork, scenic painting, props, animatronics.
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
