Senior Design Project Manager, Places & Build

📋 Description

• Lead multiple capital construction projects from initiation to close-out.
• Manage cost estimates, budgets, schedules, change orders, and invoices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on programs, masterplans, and due diligence.
• Oversee procurement: source PMs, architects, MEPs; set delivery method.
• Ensure deliverables, entitlements, permits, and contracts; prepare bid analyses and exec reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years in industry with 5+ years owner-side design/construction PM.
• Led capital projects $2M–$50M+ across R&D, manufacturing, industrial, and office.
• Directed architectural/engineering design; review specs; strong MEP knowledge.
• Proficient in procuring, negotiating, and directing contracts with architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Excel budgeting; Bluebeam; MS Project (P6 desired).
• Strong written and verbal communication; deliver concise leadership status reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, identify risks, and mitigate.
