Senior Design Release Engineer, AV Platforms

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design, release, and build-readiness of developmental hardware platforms.
• Drive lifecycle from hardware architecture to platform bring-up and sustainment.
• Author development plans and timelines for each platform phase.
• Oversee release of drawings, BOMs, specs, and test reports.
• Lead procurement: PO requests, tracking lead times to meet deadlines.
• Lead the ECN process with traceability, cost impact, and version control.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in automotive hardware design, release engineering, or vehicle integration with advanced prototyping.
• Experience driving multi-disciplinary activities, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
• Broad understanding of vehicle architectures, CAN-FD, automotive Ethernet, and packaging constraints.
• Familiarity with CAD (NX, CATIA), PLM (Polarion), and engineering release workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP&R.
