Senior DevOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate Alpaca's global infrastructure for trading-critical systems.
• Architect cloud infra on GCP using IaC with Terraform; GitOps, least-privilege.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for IaC with policy-as-code and drift detection.
• Develop self-serve platform features to provision resources via a golden path.
• Strengthen observability across Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Alertmanager.
• Manage production data stores and message brokers (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/IBM MQ) with SRE.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE with production systems.
• Deep hands-on GCP cloud architecture experience.
• Terraform IaC skills; GitOps; least-privilege mindset.
• CI/CD pipelines for IaC; Policy-as-Code; drift detection.
• Kubernetes (GKE) in production and Helm.
• Familiar with data stores and brokers: PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/IBM MQ.
