Senior DevSecOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Guide end-to-end integration with Amazon MSK/Kafka for a shared event bus across federal programs.
• Architect schema design, governance, and production cutover for integrations.
• Build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and compliance controls.
• Lead DevSecOps practices: secrets management, least-privilege, and secure software delivery.
• Manage AWS infrastructure via Terraform and operate MSK cluster capacity, upgrades, and cost
• Enhance reliability with observability: metrics, logging, alerting, tracing, and incident response.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps/Cloud/SRE/Platform Eng.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon MSK and/or Apache Kafka (cluster ops, schema management
• Experience with enterprise event-driven architectures, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect or
• Proven ability to lead cross-team initiatives and maintain high engineering standards.
• Strong AWS experience (GovCloud preferred) and Terraform for IaC.
