Senior Director, Data Center Operations

📋 Description

• Lead data center operations for two-building AI campus in Maysville, GA.
• Build and lead site operations, staffing, and 24/7 coverage.
• Own the site operating budget and vendor/service-partner management.
• Oversee construction turnover to live production and commissioning.
• Manage MEP infrastructure handover, testing, and documentation.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance; incident response; capacity planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in mission-critical facilities/data center ops; 5+ years in senior leadership with budget.
• Experience commissioning/operating hyperscale data centers (50MW+ campus).
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems: MV switchgear, gens, UPS, chillers, liquid cooling.
• Strong track record leading construction-to-ops transitions with testing and handover.
• Proven ability to build/lead 24/7 site ops teams with shift-based coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Eng, Construction Mgmt, or related field.
