Senior Director, Design

📋 Description

• Develop a forward-looking design vision for TELUS Digital, anticipating AI and change
• Define future design competencies and ways of working to keep teams ahead
• Translate vision into practice: hire, develop talent, evaluate quality, and show design value
• Partner with consultants and BD teams to shape how design is positioned and sold
• Lead and grow a team of 100+ designers, creating exceptional work and careers
• Drive business impact through revenue targets and strategic resourcing

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in design leadership in agency/enterprise settings
• Proven track record leading design teams delivering best-in-class digital products
• Experience mentoring senior designers and design leaders with performance management
• Fluency across the full product lifecycle from strategy to launch
• Executive presence to present to C-suite; ability to coach others
• Experience managing the business side: scope, margin, resourcing, stakeholder alignment
