Senior Director, Device Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own device product lane from concept to end-of-life.
• Technical systems owner across hardware, firmware, validation, connectivity, and field performance.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Eng, Product, Hardware Ops, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory.
• Drive exec tradeoffs across performance, reliability, cost, schedule, quality.
• Lead product planning, reviews, risk management, milestone delivery.
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to scale device quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong AI tooling fluency for planning, analysis, automation, tests, and docs.
• 12+ years in connected hardware, embedded systems, or medical devices from concept to commercialization.
• Strong embedded systems, electronics, systems engineering, and product architecture.
• Experience with connected device dev: hardware, firmware, connectivity, validation, and field performance.
• Experience with engineering, design, and production validation testing, ramp, and sustaining.
• Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers, suppliers, engineering partners, and teams.
