Senior Director of Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a 50+ person Talent Engineering organization comprising engineers and engineering managers
• Set engineering direction and make thoughtful investment tradeoffs across customer needs, product
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior leaders, raising the bar for leadership
• Build and maintain a culture focused on high-quality execution, ownership, collaboration
• Ensure products deliver reliable, scalable, and intuitive experiences for customers globally while
• Partner closely with Product and Design leadership to define, prioritize, and execute product

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading an engineering
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering investment across a portfolio of products and making
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products where reliability, scalability, trust, and
• Strong organizational leadership capabilities with a high degree of autonomy, ownership
• Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders at multiple levels, including engineering
• Strong product instincts and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design

🎁 Benefits

• Annual cash salary estimated at CAD $270,000–$360,000
