📋 Description

• Global tax strategy: Defining how Monzo approaches tax across the UK, Europe, and future markets.
• International expansion: Structuring cross-border expansion across Europe and future regions
• Transfer pricing: Establishing, documenting, and defending our global transfer pricing strategy and
• Total tax ownership: Overseeing group Direct Tax, Indirect Tax (VAT), Employment Tax, Transfer

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified tax professional or accountant (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ADIT, or international equivalent).
• Led an in-house tax team at scale, ideally within banking, fintech, or a regulated multinational.
• Empathetic, effective people leader with a strong track record of coaching individuals and
• Practical experience with cross-border tax issues, international structuring, and transfer pricing.
• Understanding of operational and customer taxes common to financial services (such as FATCA/CRS
