Senior Director of Software Quality Assurance

📋 Description

• Define and execute the long-term QA strategy aligned with engineering priorities and product roadmaps.
• Build and scale a globally distributed QA organization across manual, automated, and performance testing.
• Establish enterprise-wide testing standards, automation frameworks, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to embed testing early in design.
• Drive AI-assisted testing capabilities, including automated test generation and intelligent analysis.
• Define quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and release readiness controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years in software quality with leadership across distributed QA teams.
• Proven success leading QA for enterprise SaaS with manual, automated, and performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, REST Assured, Postman.
• Experience integrating quality gates into CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices, containers, SQL, and Python/JS/TS.
