Senior Director, Policy Communications

📋 Description

• Lead public affairs communications for Roblox, reporting to CCO.
• Guide global corporate positioning and crisis management.
• Create materials and campaigns informing media about policies and culture.
• Monitor regulatory environment; respond to legislation with policy team.
• Prepare press releases, blogs, FAQs, and key messages.
• Brief spokespeople; identify stories to highlight Roblox's trust and safety efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in public affairs, policy communications and crisis communications.
• Deep understanding of consumer tech, social media, online safety and privacy policies.
• Experience with global regulations and policies for diverse ages of users and creators.
• Track record developing and executing corporate communications plans across internal, external, and partner channels.
• Experience as on-the-record spokesperson on complex topics including policy or legal issues.
• Strong relationships with key journalists and influencers in tech, policy, and business press.
