Senior Director, Product, Security and Privacy

📋 Description

• Act as the primary legal partner for product and engineering teams across cloud, on-prem, and
• Advise on legal issues throughout the product development lifecycle, including feature design, data
• Review and help shape product requirements, specifications, and launch plans to proactively manage
• Advise on open-source software (OSS) usage, contributions, and licensing models (e.g., GPL, AGPL
• Support compliance with open-source obligations and guide product teams on inbound and outbound
• Partner with engineering and security on OSS governance and tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• JD or equivalent law degree; licensed and in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, with a significant focus on product, technology, or
• Experience supporting enterprise software, cloud services, or developer-focused products.
• Strong working knowledge of software licensing and SaaS models.
• Strong working knowledge of open-source licensing concepts.
• Strong working knowledge of privacy and data protection frameworks.
