Senior Director, Security & Compliance

📋 Description

• Build and scale the security, compliance, and IT operations functions.
• Hands-on audits, risk assessments, tooling, vendor reviews, and IT systems.
• Define and execute security strategy, policies, standards, and governance.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, People, and Operations to scale security programs.
• Own day-to-day corporate IT operations: endpoints, IAM, internal systems, support.
• Set enterprise security policy and governance for product/engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in security, compliance, IT, governance, or risk management.
• Experience leading and developing people with hands-on technical leadership.
• Hands-on, player-coach leader in lean or scaling environments.
• Proven ownership of compliance programs and audits, including SOC 2 and PCI DSS.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or equivalent certifications.
