Senior Director, Security Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Security Engineers to secure Ripple's products, infrastructure, and IT systems.
• Define security strategy and foster a company-wide security culture.
• Ensure AI tooling and agentic workflows are secure, controlled, and auditable.
• Own security guidelines across engineering and lead security architecture reviews.
• Oversee vulnerability management, including pen tests and remediation prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and IT leadership to align security priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in security engineering; 5+ years in leadership/management.
• Hands-on AI security expertise and guardrails for AI agents and development workflows.
• Expert in security architecture across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern stacks.
• Strong cryptography knowledge and secure coding; familiarity with OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with OAuth, SAML, OIDC and related security implications.
• IT security breadth: endpoint, network, IAM, and corporate policy enforcement.
