Senior Ecosystem Database Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain database drivers and adapters, including JDBC and Python/SQLAlchemy
• Build and improve connections between the database platform and external tools such as Grafana
• Develop and maintain internal administrative tooling, including command-line utilities and
• Improve PostgreSQL compatibility and strengthen integration capabilities across the wider database
• Build and maintain migration tools supporting movement between different database systems and
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including reference architectures

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a software engineer, with the ability to independently own
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Good working knowledge of Python and Java, with experience in additional languages such as Rust
• Understanding of technical standards, protocols, and APIs, particularly technologies such as HTTP
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and a strong commitment to software quality.
• Knowledge of software versioning, packaging, distribution, and deployment in polyglot software
