Senior EHS Specialist

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain the company safety manual and written EHS programs across all sites, meeting
• Stand up a powered industrial truck program under 29 CFR 1910.178, covering operator training
• Own safety training company-wide: identify requirements by role, deliver or source training, and
• Build and deliver site-specific safety orientation for new hires, contractors and vendors.
• Train supervisors on their safety responsibilities, including incident reporting, hazard correction
• Own the workplace violence prevention plan and training for California sites.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in EHS for manufacturing, industrial or heavy equipment operations.
• Has implemented and run a safety program across more than one site.
• Working knowledge of both Cal/OSHA (Title 8) and federal OSHA general industry standards.
• Direct experience running a powered industrial truck training and evaluation program.
• Experience designing and delivering safety training for employees and supervisors.
• Able to work independently as the sole EHS professional, reporting to a non-EHS leader.
