Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Contingent)

📋 Description

• Develop and own hardware solutions for Kepler space tech.
• Lead design reviews to minimize gaps; mentor junior engineers.
• Conduct derating, reliability, radiation, EMI/EMC, FMECA, and power budgets.
• Document design decisions, specs, block diagrams, interfaces.
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, software, and FPGA teams to deliver full product solutions.
• Drive knowledge-sharing to raise junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years hardware design experience (schematic and layout).
• Experience with high-speed interfaces: JESD204B, 10G Ethernet, PCIe 5.0.
• Memory interfaces: QSPI, UFS, DDR3/4, eMMC.
• Space/high-rel hardware experience including radiation and EMI/EMC.
• Proficiency with Altium and thorough design documentation.
