Senior Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead electrical layout and wiring for the Iron Bird ground test platform.
• Test and analyze data on subsystems, harnesses, and actuators.
• Build and test hybrid-electric powertrain: turbine, HV motors, generators, and battery integration.
• Design HV distribution with safety isolation, grounding, EMI/EMC, and protection.
• Layout and build aerospace wire harnesses; optimize connectors and routing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, test, and systems teams; ensure FAA-aligned safety.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering role, ideally startup or small team.
• Experience with EVs, eVTOL, or aerospace powertrain and HV DC distribution.
• Experience debugging with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
• Proficiency with electrical CAD for schematic capture, layout, and harness design.
• Self-motivated with multi-priority management and problem-solving.
