Senior Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop surgical energy equipment for the da Vinci system.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Software, and Clinical Engineering to define requirements.
• Identify methods to meet specs and integrate hardware into system designs.
• Develop, validate, and document hardware for clinical and environmental needs.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve design, manufacturing, or field challenges.
• Create prototypes to evaluate future product concepts.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience with Bachelor's; or 6 years with Master's; or PhD + 3 years.
• Proficient in mixed-signal design and embedded system design.
• PCBA design and lifecycle management experience.
• Experience with switched-mode power supplies and transformer design.
• PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing; hardware development in fast-paced environments.
• Familiar with medical device development and IEC 60601; strong cross-team communicator.
