Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Own electrical systems scope for assigned missions - integrate payloads and harnesses.
• Read and interpret ICDs to guide harness design and system integration decisions.
• Support CD&H (command and data handling) architecture and requirements for assigned missions.
• Interpret EMI/EMC test plans and ensure systems meet electrical compatibility requirements.
• Develop system component requirements and interconnect diagrams that tie hardware together at the mission level.
• Partner closely with board design engineers and program teams, flexing into detailed board design work when your skill set and bandwidth allow.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in electrical systems engineering—harness design, schematics, and power distribution.
• Ability to interpret ICDs and translate them into harness and interconnect designs.
• Experience developing system component requirements and interconnect diagrams.
• Ability to interpret EMI/EMC test plans.
• Senior-level experience, with comfort acting as the primary electrical owner for a mission.
• Comfortable flexing into some board design work as needed.
