Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Work in the Board Support team and collaborate with other dev teams.
• Add features, fix bugs, write tests, and optimize AuterionOS.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand use cases.
• Propose software solutions and own the implementation.
• Provide expert L3 customer support for technical issues.
• Write internal docs and contribute to the public knowledge base.

🎯 Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience writing object-oriented C++ and/or Python.
• Embedded architectures with cross-compilation, debugging, and perf optimization.
• Expert Linux skills: CLI, resource mgmt, services, and networking.
• Linux kernel, embedded drivers, device tree, and u-boot knowledge.
• Debian/Ubuntu-based systems, systemd, packaging workflows, Docker.
• Knowledge of OTA updates (e.g., Mender).
• Networking concepts across OSI, IP, routing, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS; tools like Wireshark.
