Senior Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Manage SpaceXAI's compliance program for state and federal employment laws.
• Collaborate with HR to develop policies on employment matters including accommodations, leaves
• Audit compliance programs and implement corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Advise on employment separations, job classifications, and background checks; support recruiting
• Create and deliver training for people leaders; contribute to training materials.
• Oversee OFCCP compliance reports and related filings; monitor labor law developments.

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited school.
• 10+ years of employment law experience.
• Preferred: strong academic record, experience with AAP/OFCCP, California employment law, and
• Ability to communicate clearly, manage diverse projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Travel up to 10%; admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
• This role is based in Bastrop, TX and is on-site.
