Senior Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as primary employment law advisor to Sierra's People team and leaders.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on employment docs; develop policies and playbooks.
• Advise on equity compensation programs, including offers and international plan mechanics.
• Support employment law across Sierra's international offices with local outside counsel.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, and business teams; deliver training on employment topics.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience; mix of large law firm and in-house at tech.
• Strong US state and federal employment law experience.
• Experience advising on international employment across UK, EU, APAC, LatAm.
• Excellent drafting skills; produce clean, business-ready documents with minimal supervision.
• Strong judgment; translate legal risk into practical guidance.
• Bonus: passion for AI, AI products, and LLMs.
