Senior Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and own complex backend features end to end to resolve high-impact customer requests
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Product to turn requests/bugs into technical solutions and
• Work across Payments, Account Takeover, Dispute Management, Console, Workflows, and the API.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture, code reviews, and tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers and maintain tooling/engineering practices for reliable delivery.
• Take on frontend work (React) as needed; role evolves toward full-stack work.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on backend experience in Java and/or Ruby on Rails.
• Ability to own complex problems end to end with minimal oversight.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Openness to full-stack work including frontend (React); prior React experience a plus.
• Strong focus on customers and delivering results across multiple products.
