📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust backend systems, taking ownership of solutions
• Develop automation capabilities for payment dispute management, including notifications, deadline
• Expand dispute management coverage by integrating additional payment service providers and ensuring
• Collaborate with third-party fraud prevention providers (Riskified, Forter, Signifyd, Sift) to
• Implement native risk management capabilities, including velocity rules, blocklists, device
• Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to translate

• Proven experience owning backend systems end to end, from architecture and development through
• Strong software engineering and system design skills, with the ability to design scalable backend
• Experience building systems from scratch and taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• High standards for code quality, testing, reliability, and operational excellence, particularly for
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a track record of shipping improvements frequently.
• Experience mentoring engineers or supporting colleagues' technical development.
