Senior Engineer - Data Platform

📋 Description

• Own design, delivery, and production quality of platform capabilities end to end.
• Build and maintain open source infrastructure for airgap and cloud-native environments.
• Write tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Collaborate with product and customers to translate mission problems into platform capabilities.
• Create technical documentation including ADRs and runbooks.
• Operate effectively in an asynchronous, fully remote environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering shipping production systems.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Rust; Python for tooling.
• Kubernetes knowledge: operators, CRDs, controllers, policies.
• Distributed systems concepts: consistency, replication, failure modes.
• Strong testing discipline: unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Strong communication and documentation: ADRs, design docs, runbooks.
