Senior Engineer I - QA

📋 Description

• Own the test strategy for Platform (Web and API)
• Perform frontend and backend testing (Platform - Web, REST APIs, analytics and data pipelines)
• Perform regression and sanity testing across environments and cloud regions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Design, build and maintain UI and API automation frameworks (Playwright/Selenium)
• Add automated quality gates to CI/CD pipelines, track and fix flaky tests
• Plan and run performance and load tests for APIs and data pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in test automation
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript based E2E frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.io
• Experience designing an automation framework from scratch
• Strong knowledge of JSON and REST, and API test automation (Postman/Newman, REST Assured
• Experience in Load Testing with tools like JMeter, k6 or Locust
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and hands-on experience with Jenkins, GoCD or GitHub Actions
