Senior Engineer I, Software Development -Smart Switch QA

📋 Description

• Role focuses on Networking QA with Layer 2/3 expertise, multicast protocols, and IP services.
• Design and implement complex network topologies for diverse customer use cases.
• Work with multiple vendor switches to ensure performance and reliability of wired/wireless
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, LACP, STP/RSTP/PVST/MSTP; implement MLAG, vPC, IGMP Snooping.
• Configure VRRP/OSPF/BGP and multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM-SM) for efficient routing and traffic
• Manage DNS, NTP, DHCP; configure TACACS+/RADIUS for secure authentication; SAP SNMP-based

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2 & Layer 3 protocols and multicast/IP services.
• Experience with multiple vendor switches (Cisco, Netgear, Juniper, etc.).
• Strong CLI, SNMP, and UI-based configuration skills; understanding of PTP and AVB.
• Ability to design and implement complex network topologies; excellent troubleshooting and
