Senior Engineer (Payment & Ops) - Leaply

📋 Description

• Accomplish Payment & Ops goals: all payments processing, subscriptions, checkout flow
• Integrate orchestration or billing provider: configure company MID, set up payment methods by
• Design and implement subscription module from scratch for live traffic: state, rebills scheduling
• Build parallel tests of old and new infrastructure: A/B payment flows by country and method, phased
• Extract payment module from monolith into separate service with dedicated database, build payment
• Build payment data pipeline to BigQuery, set up alerts on payment paths

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years commercial experience in production-grade Node.js / TypeScript backend
• Experience in payment domain, including subscription billing, rebills, retries, chargebacks
• Experience designing and building services or modules from scratch under live traffic (data models
• Experience integrating external APIs as a system, handling limits, error handling, retries
• Strong ownership: ability to find risks and bring solutions, collaborate with business on area
• Excellent business communication skills
