Senior Engineer (Plant Thermal Hydraulics Validations)

📋 Description

• Support verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification activities for plant-scale
• Perform system-level steady-state and transient thermal-hydraulic simulations to evaluate model
• Analyze and interpret experimental data from test facilities to validate models.
• Define validation requirements and align experimental programs with simulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for validation methodologies and analyses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting plant design, safety analysis, and licensing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis for nuclear or energy systems.
• Proven model validation activities including uncertainty quantification.
• Hands-on with experimental data analysis and comparison to system predictions.
• Experience using RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior and reactor systems.
