Senior Engineer (Plant Thermal Hydraulics Validations)

📋 Description

• Senior engineer for verification, validation and UQ of plant-scale TH analysis tools
• System-level steady-state and transient TH simulations to evaluate model behavior
• Analyze experimental data to validate models and close gaps
• Define validation requirements; align experiments with simulations
• Develop/read documentation for validation methods and regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with design, safety, licensing teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical or related field; 6+ years' exp; advanced degrees may
• System-level TH analysis and code assessment for nuclear/energy
• Model validation, uncertainty quantification, test vs model comparisons
• Experience with TH tools (RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS or equivalents)
• Strong understanding of TH-fluid, reactor systems; QA/NQA-1 preferred
• Analytical/problem-solving, clear communication
