Senior Engineer (Plant Thermal Hydraulics Validations)

📋 Description

• Support verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification activities for plant-scale
• Perform system-level steady-state and transient thermal-hydraulic simulations to evaluate model
• Analyze and interpret experimental data from separate-effects and integral test facilities to
• Define validation requirements, identify modeling needs, and collaborate with test engineering
• Develop and maintain documentation covering validation methodologies, model assumptions, simulation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting plant design, safety analysis, and licensing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related
• Demonstrated experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis and code assessment for
• Proven experience performing model validation activities, including model-to-test comparisons
• Hands-on experience analyzing experimental thermal-hydraulic data, evaluating uncertainties, and
• Experience using system analysis tools such as RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior, reactor systems, and advanced energy system design
