Senior Engineer, Reactor Vessel

📋 Description

• Own and manage design scope for reactor vessel components and interfaces.
• Lead mechanical design and technical execution of reactor vessel structures.
• Develop reactor vessel requirements, design bases, and interfaces.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, safety, and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, test plans, and calculations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years in mechanical design, nuclear components, and pressure vessels.
• Experience leading design, analysis, fabrication support, testing, and qualification of pressure vessels.
• Knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code and related standards.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AVEVA.
• Strong ability to lead design integration reviews and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• High-temperature design knowledge: thermal stresses, creep, and irradiation effects.
• Documentation management and mentorship of junior engineers.
