Senior Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead Platform and Data Engineering to provide reliable infra and data tooling.
• Own the technical foundation product squads rely on; be stable and scalable.
• Manage and mentor Platform and Data engineers; run regular 1:1s.
• Facilitate architecture reviews; drive reliability and maintainability.
• Define and track DX, delivery metrics; guide investments.
• Hire and grow a strong bench of senior engineers across domains.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years leading engineers in platform, infra, or data teams
• Served internal customers; measured success via service metrics
• Mentor, retain talent; manage performance with clarity
• Lead with autonomy, ownership, and low ego
• Partner with product managers to treat Platform/Data as products
• Cloud infra background; GCP preferred (GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery) or AWS/Azure
• Kubernetes-based environments incl CI/CD, secrets, observability
• Data engineering fundamentals: pipelines, warehousing, data quality
