Senior Engineering Manager, Activation & Engagement

📋 Description

• Lead a 10–12 engineer team across mobile, backend, and systems.
• Define strategy, roadmap, and talent development for the team.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Legal/Compliance, and Operations.
• Drive multi-quarter roadmaps with compliance and growth priorities.
• Develop talent, performance, and organizational health.
• Build reliable, scalable systems for shopper success and marketplace efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience, incl 5+ yrs managing engineers.
• Experience leading product engineering across mobile, backend, and sensitive systems.
• Strong judgment in distributed systems, reliability, on-call, incident response.
• Define and deliver multi-quarter roadmaps across compliance and growth.
• Cross-functional planning with Product, Design, Legal/Compliance, Ops, and Data.
• Experience using AI developer tools or AI-assisted workflows.
