📋 Description

• Lead engineering execution for Thunderbolt as it moves from R&D incubation to enterprise
• Manage and grow a small senior engineering team, stay close to code quality and technical execution.
• Partner with product and leadership to translate AI strategy into coordinated plans.
• Define production-ready standards and scalable operating model for deployment.
• Help Thunderbolt scale from incubation to a reliable, enterprise-ready open-source AI product.
• Balance speed, user experience, privacy, quality, and long-term sustainability across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software development experience; 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Ability to translate ambiguous product/technical direction into clear plans and ownership models.
• Technical fluency with AI-enabled products and tradeoffs across LLMs, RAG workflows, agents
• Experience delivering complex apps across desktop, web, and mobile (e.g., Tauri, Electron, React
• Experience with enterprise software, security, privacy, compliance, and customer-controlled
