Senior Engineering Manager, Mapping

📋 Description

• Manage a rapidly growing team of engineers developing user-facing Mapping experiences
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members and assign projects tailored to skill levels and goals
• Build a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful team culture
• Create plans to prioritize technical and resourcing challenges
• Maintain a balance between sustainable high-impact projects and shipping quickly
• Instill continuous improvement in code, architecture, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors, Masters in Computer Science or at least 7 years of industry experience building and shipping software
• Experience leading software engineering teams through tough problems, growing people and shipping software
• Experience leading a team that shipped a mobile product with millions of users
• Previous experience as a software engineer
• Ability to decompose complex business problems and lead a team in solving them in a fast-paced but rigorous fashion
• Excellent communication skills
