Senior Engineering Manager — Network Connectivity

📋 Description

• Hire, mentor, and coach a distributed team of Software Engineers
• Work closely with Product Managers and other Engineering leaders to communicate the vision
• Understand technical implications of work across a distributed software network infrastructure to
• Apply technical experience to evaluate tradeoffs, contribute to design decisions, and help drive
• Take responsibility for the team's production services by organizing on-call rotations, handling
• Drive reliability and automation improvements across the platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an Engineering Manager for a team of Software and Systems Engineers
• Demonstrated track record of managing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional
• Excellence in planning and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability
• Experience/interest in Layer 3 and Layer 4 networking
• Experience/interest in network performance monitoring and tuning
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging distributed systems
