Senior Engineering Manager, Search and Discovery

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing ML engineering team with ownership and collaboration.
• Establish a long-term strategy for homepage ML models.
• Collaborate with ML platform, data science, and product teams to deliver SoTA ML models.
• Oversee end-to-end ML development lifecycle with high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers, guiding career development and growth.
• Manage cross-functional projects and report progress to leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience and 8+ years building ML systems.
• Experience hiring, managing, and mentoring senior ML engineers.
• Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art ML architectures and algorithms.
• Ability to drive technical strategy and roadmaps in fast-paced environments.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with partners and leadership.
• BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field, or equivalent experience with SoTA ML.
