Senior Engineering Manager, SRE

📋 Description

• Lead the SRE team in Bangalore, owning core infra and reliability.
• Own the technical roadmap and drive hiring and growth.
• Ensure uptime, security, and cost efficiency for production systems.
• Govern AI tooling: model routing, data connectors, and audit trails.
• Lead cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives, including right-sizing.
• Set SRE standards: SLIs/SLOs, on-call, and monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• Management Experience: 4+ years leading SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure teams.
• Technical Background: 6+ years as IC; proficient in Golang, Python, or TypeScript.
• Cloud & Platform: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform; API gateways and model routing toolchains preferred.
• Cost & Efficiency: Experience with cloud cost management and metering.
• AI Infra & Governance: Toolchains for LLMs, AI gateways, governance, and security guardrails.
• Systems Knowledge: Distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and DataDog observability.
• Team Development: Recruit, hire, and mentor engineering talent.
• Execution: Track record shipping complex infra projects and ensuring service stability.
