Senior Factoring Underwriter & Credit Specialist

📋 Description

• Underwrite prospective commercial A/R factoring facilities, assess borrower and account debtor
• Review and interpret comprehensive UCC lien searches, tax lien reports, and judgment filings to
• Validate invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, and proof of delivery before funding. Conduct
• Analyze chargebacks, returns, trade discounts, credit memos, co-op advertising deductions, and
• Oversee UCC-1 financing statement filings, amendments, continuations, Notices of Assignment (NOAs)
• Monitor collections, remittance patterns, daily lockbox reconciliations, aged receivables

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on commercial accounts receivable factoring underwriting experience
• Proven ability to interpret complex UCC lien search reports, identify prior blanket liens, PMSIs
• Demonstrated experience evaluating account debtor risk, establishing debtor-level credit limits
• Strong understanding of invoice verification, pre-advance audits, confirmation calls, estoppels
• Solid credit fundamentals, including balance sheet and profit-and-loss analysis, cash flow
• Ability to assess collateral eligibility, maintain accurate documentation, identify conflicting
