Senior Field Engineer, Data Center Design and Engineering

📋 Description

• Be our engineering presence on site: walk installed work, hold design acceptance, and resolve
• Get issues closed: maintain one prioritized list of open engineering issues with owners and dates
• Find out why things fail: gather evidence, test explanations, trace failures to root cause, confirm
• Clear the path to commissioning and handover: check interfaces between power, cooling, controls
• Bring the field back into the design: turn recurring site problems into design, standards, and

🎯 Requirements

• Years of experience on active project sites in energy, power, heavy industrial, data center, or
• Ability to read drawings, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, and schedules
• Experience persuading contractors, vendors, or partners who don't report to you
• Hold position under pressure, back with evidence, deliver bad news early, change mind when facts
• Led structured failure investigations using methods like 5 Whys or 8D
• Write short, factual reports
