Senior Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• Own IFRS 9/IFRS 13 numbers, from calculation to posting: ECL provisions, CVA/DVA and credit risk
• Explain movements each month and send management a clear summary of what happened and why.
• Keep IFRS 9/IFRS 13 policies and procedures up to date, and prepare disclosures for Group and
• Work with the Data, Treasury and Credit Risk teams and answer auditors' questions.
• Question current processes and make them simpler and better.
• Be the audit controller for several subsidiaries, from start to finish: agree fees and sign-off

🎯 Requirements

• IFRS 9/IFRS 13 knowledge: provisions, ECL calculations, CVA, DVA and credit risk adjustments (key
• 5+ years in audit, accounting or financial reporting.
• Hands-on IFRS 9/IFRS 13 experience and audit background (ideally Big 4) are big pluses.
• Good understanding of statutory audit and ability to prepare financial statements, including
• Project-manager mindset: keep many people moving towards deadlines.
• Eye for detail and big picture, confidence to challenge.
