Senior Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• Deliver accurate, on time monthly and yearly close, including full ownership of complex accounts
• Own regulatory reporting end to end, including DNB submissions and other required filings
• Take major finance related projects from kickoff through to launch, working closely with
• Build financial solutions for business opportunities alongside FP&A, tax, operations and
• Coach and support junior accountants, helping them grow their skills and confidence
• Prepare for and support external auditors through the annual audit, start to finish

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in accountancy and/or finance, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in
• A post accountancy qualification such as ACCA, RA or CPA is preferred, though not a strict
• Experience managing complex accounts, including revenue, cost of sales, provisions and taxes
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP, along with tax accounting experience including CIT, VAT
• Experience with month end and year end close processes
• Comfortable presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and handling pushback
