Senior Financial Analyst

📋 Description

• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts for R&D, including headcount and costs.
• Partner with R&D on budget questions, scenarios, and leadership decisions.
• Build business case models for R&D investments and product initiatives.
• Model investment tradeoffs and track performance against business cases.
• Model how R&D spend translates into product capability timelines and revenue.
• Own cloud hosting cost reporting and forecasting by product line.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years FP&A/finance in SaaS/tech; R&D/GTM finance a plus.
• Budgets, forecasts, headcount modeling, variance analysis (R&D preferred).
• Familiar with cloud infra economics and cloud hosting cost modeling.
• Deep SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, LTV) and model building.
• Experience building product-level P&L (revenue, COGS, margins).
• AI-enabled: use AI tools for modeling and analysis with good judgment.
