📋 Description

• Lead month-end close; manage leases, accruals, inventory, and consolidation.
• Support junior team members and review their work.
• Understand the business/products to write insightful management commentary.
• Collaborate with engineers and data teams to automate production elements.
• Optimize accounting systems to minimise manual reporting.
• Support year-end processes with external auditors and the Financial Reporting squad.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial reporting/controlling, ideally in retail banking.
• Strong attention to detail and regulatory awareness.
• Self-starter with ability to handle reporting tasks and ad hoc requests.
• SQL skills are a bonus.
• Able to collaborate with engineers and data teams.
